YOU MUST HAVE A BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN ORDER TO TEACH IN CHINA. HOWEVER, OUR INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME MAY BE FOR YOU. THIS ALLOWS YOU TO GAIN VALUABLE WORK EXPERIENCE AS WELL AS LEARNING MANDARIN CHINESE.
The age of students varies from job to job, we have positions teaching children of all ages and adults. Some specialized positions offer the chance to teach Chinese teachers of the English language.
Working between 15 to 30 actual teaching hours per week, as well as planning lessons, marking course/home work and measuring student progress.
Teaching classes of various sizes, small groups and one to one sessions, as well as participating in English corners.
Attending meetings, training sessions and promotional demos as required.

Salary upwards of £800 pcm, pay could be as high as £2500 pcm depending on qualifications and experience.
Free accommodation or a subsidy towards your rent. The exact amount varies according to city and local rental prices but could be as high as £400 pcm.
Free China TEFL course if required. Assistance arranging, and sponsorship of, Z working visa.*
Free return flight to UK for one year contract.**
Arrival support in China including airport pickup, free internal travel, and hotel accommodation where necessary to get you to your workplace
Additional workplace support including orientation, setting up a Chinese bank account, arranging a mobile phone, organising Chinese lessons etc. Some employers may provide Chinese lessons free of charge.
Please note that exact benefits vary to some degree according to the employer. A comprehensive and accurate list of benefits will be provided to you prior to you signing your contract. *Where a Z working visa is obtained in the UK prior to departure, the employee will be reimbursed costs, excluding travel to consulate/embassy, between 3 to 6 months into contract. **The cost of the return flight will be reimbursed to the employee between 3 to 6 months into the contract. Some employers only require the purchase of a one way ticket that will then be reimburse as above. The return flight will be arranged and paid for by the employer upon completion of the contract.
