Job Title: Account Manager – Central Europe

Salary: £28,000 PA

Hybrid Working: Milton Keynes Office: 3 Days. Home: 2 Days

Job Specification

  • Work with the Country Manager to set budgets for customers and help them achieve targets
  • Ensure customers are aware of new products launched each season and ensure they are ranging the right products to achieve their sell-through expectations
  • Make customers aware of all marketing tools available to them
  • Direct account responsibility for smaller German customers and assist the Country manager with key accounts where required
  • Process all German and Eastern European sales orders and invoices
  • Liaise with factories and raise purchase orders
  • Update the online tracking system
  • Handle a full set of import and export shipping documents (PI & PO, INV & PL)
  • Coordinate with factories and customers for shipping schedule arrangements
  • Responsible for monitoring shipment schedule on time
  • Responsible for checking and chasing payments from customers
  • Resolve customer queries – answering calls and emails from customers and factories
  • Assist with translation and interpretation where necessary
  • Work with customers to analyse monthly sell-through data
  • Check the sell-through report and chase new orders to make sure the client has the right stock levels at all times


What You’ll Need To Succeed

  • Speak fluent German
  • Other Eastern European languages are also desirable
  • Have a passion for health and fitness
  • Willing to travel to Germany to support Country Manager with key accounts
  • More than 5 years of previous customer service and sales experience, ideally in sporting goods
  • Good knowledge of Excel
  • Well organised with good attention to detail
  • Able to work to strict deadlines
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Friendly and outgoing personality with a positive ‘can do’ attitude
